About Us

Peer-led support

The Moving on Together Community Support Group is a peer-led voluntary group run by ex-clients of the Kingston Wellbeing Service. Members have overcome their own addictions and decided that they would like to help others in the local area who are still struggling on their own journey of recovery.

So what do we do?

All of the committee members are peer mentors, who have been in your shoes. They know what it is like to be held back from achieving your full potential because of addiction and they fully understand the problems that accompanies this. They are all here to support people throughout their recovery.

So how do we manage this?

On Thursday afternoons, between 1pm and 4pm at Kingsgate Community Chuch,  161A Clarence street, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 1QT , we provide a free lunch and foodbank. We have a varierty of support agencies who will be available to support with additonal needs.

The Future?

Challenging and exciting times are ahead. With the acquisition of The Lodge, we will soon be able to offer different therapies. Acupuncture, Indian head massage and art therapy. Working in partnership with the Kingston Wellbeing Service and the Royal Borough of Kingston.
